Griezmann's response to claim he doesn't get on with Messi

Antoine Griezmann returned to social media on Tuesday to make it clear he has a good relationship with Lionel Messi following comments made by his former agent. 

Griezmann retweeted a post from Saturday after the Real Betis game in which he and Messi are embracing after one of the Barça goals. 

It was the France forward's way to calm things down after some surprisingly strong quotes from his old representative Eric Olhats earlier in the day. 

Olhats had told France Football: "Antoine arrived at a struggling club where Messi controls everything. He's at the same time emperor and monarch, and he didn't see Antoine's arrival with a good eye.

"Messi's attitude has been deplorable, he made [Griezmann] feel that. I've always heard Antoine say there's no problem with Messi, but never the other way around.

"It is a regime of terror. Either you are with him or you are against him."

Griezmann and Messi have a good relationship in the dressing room which grew last season thanks to Luis Suarez. The Uruguay striker, who's more extroverted than those two, was the perfect player to bring them together. 

Coach Ronald Koeman is also hopeful of getting the best out of them and Messi's dummy on Saturday set up a tap in for Griezmann.
