Griezmann won't be up for sale in January transfer window
A club spokesman told 'L'Equipe' that Barça are "coutning" on the France star
Antonie Griezmann is expected to start the Clasico for Barcelona on Saturday at Camp Nou. It will be another opportunity for the France forward to show his ability and convince not just his coach, Ronald Koeman, but the Barça fans.
Griezmann has still not found his place at Barcelona. His adaption process has been complicated. It seemed with Koeman the problem would be solved, but so far he's without a goal this season and has been taken off in all four game. Against Ferencvaros in the Champions League, he was an unused substitute.
However, despite his difficulties, Griezmann can be calm, as the club still count on him. President Josep Maria Bartomeu said in the summer that he was not for sale and it doesn't seem that anything has changed in that respect ahead of the January transfer window.
In fact, according to the French newspaper L'Equipe, a Barça spokesman has said: "We count on Griezmann." However, he needs to improve his form. Saturday against Madrid would be the perfect setting for his first goal of the campaign.
