The French striker spoke after Barcelona's 1-1 draw against PSG in the Champions League

Antoine Griezmann says Barcelona are "pissed" to have been knocked out of the Champions League but hopes they will take confidence from their peformance against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

Lionel Messi's wonder goal cancelled out Kylian Mbappe's penalty as Barça were to a 1-1 draw in Paris, exiting the competition 5-2 on aggregate in the last 16.

But Ronald Koeman's side were far better than PSG, with Ousmane Dembele missing some good chances, Sergiño Dest hitting the bar and Messi seeing a penalty pushed on to the bar by Keylor Navas.

"We gave a good image," Griezmann told Movistar. "We played really well and had a lot of chances, but we just could not take them. We had four clear chances, the penalty...

"After that, they defended more. We wanted to put in a great performance, give our all, but it wasn't to be. We still have Liga and Copa, that's the objective.

"The game gives us a lot of confidence, but we're pissed because we wanted to go through. Neither we nor the supporters deserved to go out so soon but we'll be back next year to win it."

Griezmann started for the second successive game after being left on the bench for the previous three matches.

"I feel really good, with my teammates and with the coach," the French forward added. "Whether I have to play 10 minutes or 90, I am at the team's service."
