Griezmann: "People talk about the Champions League but I haven't won LaLiga yet"

The French forward admits everyone at Barça wants to win in Europe but points out that winning LaLiga isn't an easy task either

One of the motives behind Antoine Griezmann signing for FC Barcelona was to add more trophies to his collection. In particular, the Champions League and LaLiga crowns which he couldn't win at either Real Sociedad or Atletico Madrid.

There were a few times when the forward came close to lifting both trophies but ultimately fell at the final hurdle. He hopes for a different ending this time around with Barça.

"We're talking about the Champions League because we haven't won it but LaLiga is also a really difficult competition to win. I've been playing in LaLiga since I was 18 and I haven't won it. It's really tough. It looks easy because Barça win year after year but it's really difficult."

However, the Champions League holds a special place in the hearts of most players. "All the powerful teams in Europe want to win it. But one mistake, on one night, can be the difference between winning and losing. Our objective is to lift every trophy - and that includes the Champions League."
