The Frenchman played with Messi for the first time in Dortmund

Antoine Griezmann didn't find the net against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday as he made his Champions League debut for Barcelona in the goalless draw.

The France forward was sincere after the game as he recognised: "We haven't had a shot on target and that's something we have to improve. We have to work hard." However, speaking to Movistar, he also looked at the positive when he said that "in the end a point is a point."

Griezmann said that it's tough going to places like Dortmund in Europe. "Games away from home are always different: the fans are on top of you and the home side plays with more confidence. It's difficult to create chances but, as I said, that's something we have to improve."

He also pointed out that goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen "saved a penalty and has made a number of other important saves" as Barça held on in the end.

ADAPTION

This was the first time he has played alongside both Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, with the latter coming on for the final 30 minutes of the game.

In terms of his standing at the club now, he said: "Obviously this is now the second month I've been here and I have to get used to the movements of any teammates -- and them to mine. To Luis, to Leo, to Ousmane [Dembele] when he's back... That comes by being together on the pitch and working on it."
