Valverde could start Messi, Luis Suárez & Griezmann together for the first time

Barcelona have a big test at Granada on Saturday. Ernesto Valverde's side don't know what it's like to win away from Camp Nou this season and they need three points to keep in touch with the league leaders just four games in.

Barça lost at Athletic Club and drew with Osasuna and Borussia Dortmund, so they're obliged not to mess up again in Andalusia this weekend against one of the newly promoted teams.

Save any surprises, Valverde will line up with his new trident for the first time: Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann. They played together for the final 30 minutes in Germany but have never started together.

CHANGES

In addition to attack, Valverde's also going to make changes elsewhere -- enforced in defence but perhaps rotations in midfield. Jordi Alba is injured, so Junior Firpo will get the chance from the off at left-back. So far, he's only played nine minutes (against Betis) for his new club.

In midfield, there could also be changes. Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal are pushing for starts, with Sergio Busquets, Arthur Melo and Frenkie de Jong all having started the last two games.

Ousmane Dembele is still injured (while Carles Aleña and Moussa Wague haven't been called up), but Carles Perez and Ansu Fati remain in the squad. They have both scored this season but both could be on the bench at Granada.

Barça trained on Friday evening and travelled to Granada on Saturday morning for the game.
