Gonçalo Costa another option for the Barça left-back spot
The Sporting defender is leaving after eight years there and Barcelona have been tracking him
Barcelona know the positions they want to reinforce, and left back is one of them. Marcos Alonso is the name that most convinces the club, while Jose Gaya and Javi Galan have cropped up as options too.
Per A Bola in Portugal, another name on the table as a possibility is Goncalo Costa. The 22 year old defender announced he will not be staying at the club that he arrived at eight years ago as a teen.
This season he played with the Sporting B team, scoring three goals in 23 games. The same source says Barcelona have been tracking the player for a few years.
