Barcelona coach Quique Setien complained after his side's 2-1 win over Getafe at Camp Nou that Jose Bordalas' side made 29 fouls across the 90 minutes but somehow received one less booking than the Catalans.
To understand the context of that amount of fouls in one game, it's a record high across Europe's top five leagues this season, according to Gol.
Curiously, Getafe held the previous record, too. They committed 28 fouls in their games at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez against Real Betis and Real Valladolid.
As Setien complained, three Barça players (Umtiti, Junior Firpo and Ansu Fati) saw yellow, while only two of the visitors were cautioned despite their persistent fouling (Mata and Kenedy).
