Girona interested in signing Barca's Eric Garcia

The FC Barcelona market is still red hot, and the club is working flat out on departures in an attempt to bring in a transfer and reduce the wage bill. Beyond the double issue with Abde and Ansu, there is a new player who could have chances to leave: Eric Garcia. 

According to Nil Solà, a journalist from Cadena 'SER' in Girona, the name of the centre-back from Martorell is on the table at Montilivi. The versatile profile of the player, who can play as a pivot and as a central defender, is very much to Míchel's liking, who would welcome his incorporation. 

In terms of Barça, Eric Garcia is one of the players who is currently one step below in the team's rotation. He has been a substitute in the first two league games, playing his first minutes (11') in the home game against Cadiz.
