Marc Cucurella is Getafe's newest player. The Barcelona left-back has reached an agreement to join the Madrid club for the next four years. On Friday, he will undergo a medical before completing the move.
SPORT have learned that he will initially move on loan before joining permanently for six million euros next summer. But Getafe will only buy 60 percent of his rights wiith that fee. Barça will keep 40 percent.
Barça sold Cucurella to Eibar earlier this summer for two million euros but re-signed him on Wednesday for four million euros.
The move to Getafe, therefore, sees them make four million euros in total, while they also will receive 40 percent of any future sale.
Cucurella impressed on loan at Eibar last season but Barça have decided against keeping him as Jordi Alba's backup.
