Georginio Wijnaldum keeps cards close to his chest on Barca move
The Dutch midfielder was asked about the reports he's signed a pre-agreement with the Catalans
Georginio Wijnaldum has denied that he has reached a deal with Barcelona for next season.
“They will always talk about these things but as I’ve said on other occasions, I have no news still,” said the footballer to Dutch channel NOS.
The Liverpool midfielder is with the Holland national team for World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
“They say this in the media but I have no news. When there is I will talk about it, but there isn’t. I’m here now to talk about the games against Turkey, Latvia and Gibraltar.”
The 30-year-old midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and heavily linked to Camp Nou.
The Sunday Times say that Barca have signed a pre-agreement with him to sign him for next season.
