Gazzetta: Barca want to move for Inter's Nicolo Barella in the summer

The Catalans are said to be interested in the Inter Milan midfielder

Nicolo Barella is one of the players of the season in Serie A. He had a great game against Juve in Inter Milan’s 2-0 win at the weekend to confirm his elite status at just 23 years of age. He helped set up a goal for former Barcelona player Arturo Vidal in the win.

Per La Gazette dello Sport, Barcelona are following the youngster closely. They aren’t planning a winter move given their bad financial state, but they might try in the summer or even winter window in Jan 2022.

He’s a player who wins the ball back, fights tirelessly, plays nicely with it and plays in the interior role of the midfield, working well with Achraf Hakimi.

They say that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also asked after Barella, who has two goals and five assists this season in Serie A, improving on his tally of one and four respectively last year.

Barely formed at Cagliari and debuted there in 2015. Inter signed him for 12 million euros last season and he quickly became a fixture in the team.
