Gavi's salary revealed amid contract renewal talks
The Spanish midfielder has thrived this season at the tender age of 17
Pablo Martin Paez Gavira, known as Gavi, is the talk of the town after his fine performance against Elche. The midfielder scored a spectacular goal and set up Nico in a 3-2 win.
Barcelona have been trying to renew the the player’s deal. He is 17 years old and key for the club and also Luis Enrique with Spain. His salary is outdated, making just 100,000 euros a year, as revealed by Cadena SER.
Gavi also has a renewal bonus of between 1.5 and 2 million euros and a 50m euro release clause.
Pedri’s injuries have helped Gavi embed himself in the team, first under Ronald Koeman and now Xavi.
He will start against Sevilla and it’s a special game for him as he came through the Real Betis youth academy.
