The midfielder made his 100th appearance in Sunday's narrow win at Osasuna

Gavi reached 100 first-team appearances for Barcelona in Pamplona in the 2-1 win over Osasuna. The Andalusian has managed to reach the figure at the age of 19 years and 29 days, becoming the youngest Barça player to become a centenarian.

Gavi started Saturday's game at El Sadar playing as the fourth midfielder, positioned on the left flank and leaving space for Balde, looking to combine inside with Gündogan, De Jong and Lewandowski.

As always, he worked hard and didn't give a ball away, getting into a dialectical battle with the Osasuna players. In fact, at the start of the second half, he had to get a few stitches in his ear after receiving a slap from Rubén García.

The numbers

The midfielder made his first-team debut on 29 August 2021 at Camp Nou against Getafe. He was 17 years old at the time. In the 100 games played since, his record is 59 wins, 20 draws and 21 defeats. He has six goals and 13 assists. He has seen 32 yellow cards and has been sent off once.

More numbers. Before the Osasuna game, he totalled 6,780 minutes. And he has started 79 of the 100 games he has played. As a first-team player, he has won a Spanish Super Cup and a LaLiga title. He has a contract until 30 June 2026 and a termination clause of 1,000 million euros.
