Gavi, Inigo Martinez and Ilkay Gündogan at the Joan Gamper on their day-off

The three players have come to the Ciutat Esportiva to continue their recoveries despite Xavi having given them three days off

Three well-deserved days off for the squad after spending more than two weeks on a marathon tour with endless hours of flying, three games, and a stomach virus. Add to that the whole mess with Dembélé.

Three players appear to be completely unfazed by any of it, choosing to train at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Thursday.

The injured trio Ilkay Gündogan, Gavi and Íñigo Martínez have continued their recoveries at the club's facilities despite being entitled to rest.

The German-Turk and the Andalusian are expected to be fit and ready for the Gamper next week. Gavi has not played a single minute on the tour of the United States due to back problems, while the former City player was substituted in the first half of the clásico after feeling some discomfort. Gündogan reassured everyone afterwards that it was nothing serious.

PATIENCE WITH ÍÑIGO

The central defender from Ondarroa has not yet trained with the group since he joined on 10th July and continues to work on the sidelines in the gym due to his fascia problems, a delicate injury. Unless there is a surprise, he is ruled out for Getafe.
