The forward made the comment on Twitter after Barcelona lost to Valencia

Former Barcelona striker Gary Lineker, who played for the club between 1986 and 1989, took to Twitter after the defeat to Valencia to joke about Quique Setien's future.

After narrow wins against Granada and Ibiza, Setien's tasted defeat for the first time as Barça coach at Mestalla on Saturday, going down 2-0.

"Setien out," was the clear, but perhaps jokey, message sent by Lineker, who is now a presenter on the BBC.

Lineker was probably being ironic, given the tide of 'Valverde out' tweets which haunted former coach Ernesto Valverde in his final months in charge.

When appointed, Lineker tweeted about Setien: If he is to be the new coach of @FCBarcelona, which appears very likely, then he looks a great fit."
