Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan are options on the market for Barca
The Man City duo are being looked at by the Catalan chiefs
With Kun Aguero arriving and Memphis Depay also seemingly on the way, Barcelona’s attack for next season is almost complete. Their relations with Man City are good and there is a chance that the English side would open their doors to two players whom Barca might like, in Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan.
The latter would be an alternative to Wijnaldum, who may choose PSG’s fat economic offer. Gundogan has played 46 games this season and is 30, his contract ends in 2023. He actually passed a medical with Barca in 2015 but they didn’t seal a deal for him.
Gabriel Jesus, meanwhile would be a big addition to Barca’s attack but with Kun at the club and Depay set to arrive, they would only sign him if the opportunity was irresistible.
