Frenkie de Jong to arrive in Barcelona on Thursday ahead of Camp Nou presentation
The Dutch midfielder is joining Barça in a deal worth an initial 75 million euros
Frenkie de Jong is a Barcelona player. He has been since January 23 when it was confirmed he would join this summer from Ajax. A lot has happened on the pitch since then, but the best is still to come and it starts on Thursday in Barcelona.
The Dutch midfielder will arrive at El Prat on a private plane from Amsterdam, the city where he has grown as a player and the next chapter of his career will begin in Catalonia.
Accompanied by his family, De Jong will spend his first few hours in Barcelona at Camp Nou. It's likely that there will be cameras waiting for him on Thursday to capture his arrival. At 9pm there will even be a photo session in the Barça Store next to Camp Nou.
De Jong will then be presented at Camp Nou on Friday, with a press conference in the evening alongside Eric Abidal.
