Frenkie de Jong thinks Ajax can knock out Real Madrid

The Dutch side face European champions Real in the UCL this month
Ajax take on Real Madrid in the Champions League, with the first leg in Amsterdam on February 13. There is a Barcelona player at the club now, with Frenkie de Jong having agreed to sign for the Catalans in the summer.
De Jong thinks that although “Real Madrid are favourites and have won four of the last five Champions Leagues,” Ajax have a chance.
“I will not say we will win the trophy because all we can do is go step by step. Our opponent is starting to play better too, but if we have luck, we will not give it up, we have a chance.”
If De Jong plays well in an Ajax elimination for Real Madrid it would bode very well for him at Barcelona and the fans would be sure to welcome him to the club with open arms.
