The Dutch midfielder loves being at Barcelona, even though there is speculation about his future

Frenkie de Jong has spoken. The Dutch midfielder is in the middle of a great tug of war over his future, with Man United trying to sign him from Barcelona, but he has other ideas.

The midfielder spoke after Netherlands 3-2 win over Wales thanks to a last minute Memphis Depay strike.

“You’re always flattered when teams show interest in you as a player but I am at the biggest club in the world at the moment and I feel fine there, so no news,” said Frenkie when asked about a move.

The player has shown many times that he is where he wants to be, at his dream club, so without his blessing a move might be hard to arrange.

However Man United won’t throw in the towel that easily for him and will keep pushing, knowing Barcelona might sell because of their financial position.

The Red Devils are also interested in Christian Eriksen.
