Memphis drops out with an injury, with Luuk de Jong among the other players still out

All set for the quarterfinals of the Europa League. Barcelona, after climbing to second in LaLiga after beating Sevilla, travelled to Germany on Wednesday for their game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday at Deutsche Bank Park.

Xavi Hernandez's side will train at the stadium later on Wednesday as they put they prepare for the first leg of the tie on the back of six straight wins in LaLiga and a 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Barça will be without Memphis Depay for the game due to a hamstring strain, while Luuk de Jong is still sidelined with Covid-19 and Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto, Sergiño Dest and Samuel Umtiti remain injured.

Frankfurt, meanwhile, have drawn four games in a row, but will have their home fans behind them this week against Barça.

Later on Wednesday, the Blaugrana coach Xavi Hernandez and forward Ferran Torres will speak in a news conference.
