Franck Kessie's emotional goodbye to Milan ahead of Barça move

Franck Kessie has said goodbye to AC Milan and their fans with a message on social media ahead of joining FC Barcelona this summer on a free transfer.

Kessie leaves the club after helping them win Serie A and wrote: "After five years, I never expected that this great experience would close in the best possible way, with a unique emotion: We are the champions of Italy.

The new Barça midfielder added: "Proud to wear this shirt and to have had been on this journey with some fantastic teammates. Thanks for everything, thanks to everyone."

In the coming days, the Ivory Coast midfielder will be announced as Barça player, joining officially on July 1 when his contract with Milan expires.
