Former Valencia manager Gary Neville lashes out at Barça over their signings

The player-turned-coach believes Barca should not spend on new signings before settling their debts with players under contract and asks Frenkie de Jong to denounce the club and FIFA to take action in the matter

Gary Neville has taken a swipe at FC Barcelona on social media. The former Manchester United player has lashed out at the Spanish giants because he believes it immoral that they are signing new players while maintaining debts with some of their contracted players, such as Frenkie de Jong.

"De Jong should contemplate taking legal action against Barcelona and all the players should be behind him! A club spending fortunes on new players without paying their full money to those under contract is immoral and an infringement. Fifa should be all over the place bullying and stopping this," he wrote.

The English coach is not the only one who has censured Barça's policy in this transfer market. Only a few days ago the Bayern Munich coach, Julian Naggelsman, made a comment expressing surprise that the club chaired by Laporta could make a signing taking into account their financial situation. The leaders of the Bavarian club, like Hoeness, had also criticised that FC Barcelona was buying players while being bankrupt.
