Former Barcelona forward Yusuf Demir has signed for Galatasaray. According to Turkish media reports, the incorporation of the 19-year-old attacker is worth around €6 million and he follows Juan Mata, Mauro Icardi, Mathias Ross and Milot Rashica to the club.
The Austrian international joins from Rapid Vienna, changing the Austrian Bundesliga for the Turkish League.
Demirören News Agency explained that the former Barça player was wanted by different clubs around Europe. However, his destination is Galatasaray, for a cheaper price than expected.
Vienna asked for around €10 million for Demir, but the amount has finally been lowered to around €6 million.
He played nine official games for Barça last season while on loan. Of these, he started in three and came off the bench in the remaining six. He returned to Austria in January, his loan cut short.
