Former Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic to announce retirement on Thursday

He has been without a club since leaving Vissel Kobe earlier this year

The striker Bojan Krkic will announce his retirement from professional football this Thursday at the age of 32, in an event that will take place at the FC Barcelona's facilities.

Krkic has summoned the media, but has not announced the reason. However, a few days ago, Gerard Piqué revealed it publicly in a live broadcast of the 'Kings League'.

The forward, who came through the youth ranks at Barcelona, played for the Catalan side between 2007 and 2011.

He went on to play for Roma, Milan, Ajax Stoke City, Mainz, Alaves and Montreal. His last team was Vissel Kobe, where he has played for the last two seasons alongside former Barça player Andrés Iniesta.
