The Catalan youngster bagged his first Serie A goal against SPAL
Carles Perez has finally managed to score his first Serie A goal and, in doing so, has won over his manager. Paulo Fonseca lavished praise on the young forward following Roma's 6-1 victory over SPAL.
It wasn't Perez's first goal for Roma as he'd got off the mark in the Europa League against Genk. He scored the goal to make it 2-1 and this saw SPAL fall away as a rejuvenated Roma ran rampant.
"He had a fantastic game," declared Fonseca following the contest. There is renewed hope that, step by step, Perez is beginning to find his feet in Italy.
