First Camp Nou return is a special moment for Marc Bartra
After coming through La Masia as a youngster, the Real Betis defender makes his first appearance at the Camp Nou since leaving the club
Marc Bartra is set to take part in one of the most special matches in his football career. The current Real Betis defender will return to the Camp Nou for the first time as a rival this afternoon.
After coming through La Masia, the defender left Barça to sign for Borussia Dortmund. After 18 months in Germany, Bartra returned to Spain with Betis. He's now beginning to fulfil the promise so many had in him - and what better place to show your progression than at your old club?
In a tweet posted yesterday, Bartra said: "Tomorrow is going to be a very special day for me. For the first time as a professional I'll come up against the side which saw me grow from a boy to a man. In the stadium where I lived, played, cried, made great friendships and completed unforgettable dreams."
