Ferran Torres scored his first Barcelona goal on Thursday but was on the losing side at Athletic Club clinched a 3-2 win after extra time to reach the last eight of the Copa del Rey.
It's been a tough start to life for Ferran at Barça after joining from Manchester City for 55 million euros. His debut saw the team knocked out of the Supercopa to Real Madrid.
"It is a tough situation but we have the players to move forward and get out of it," he told Tele5 after the game at San Mames.
The former Valencia forwarded commented that "we knew what we were up against. I think we played well, but we made individual errors. We're on the right path. We have to congratulate Athletic."
One of the problems, according to Ferran, is that Barça "are just getting players back who have been out for a long time with injuries. Ansu has had a relapse today. We have to keep working hard and the results will come."
