The striker struck twice as Barcelona won 4-2 on Tuesday

Ferran Torres bagged a brace against Viktoria Plzen at Barcelona closed their Champions League campaign with a 4-2 win on Tuesday.

"It was a game to keep competing, to get three points, string some wins together and, for those of us who have played less, to get minutes and confidence. It was a good victory," he said.

Ferran added that "we knew that they would press us high. They wanted to bid farewell to the Champions League on a good note, like us, who also wanted to win. It was a closely contested match."

Regarding his position, as the No9, he commented that "I feel comfortable in all three positions. It was a good game to gain confidence".

The striker confessed to having a "bittersweet taste" after Barça exited Champions League but "now, as the coach said, we have to go for the Europa League -- and also LaLiga where we are one point off the top. We have to keep working hard and competing."
