The Spanish striker, who was on Barcelona's shortlist, scored for Tottenham against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente has given some clues regarding an offer he had to return to LaLiga last month. The forward, who scored for Spurs against Dortmund in the Champions League last night, spoke to 'El Larguero'.

"I didn't receive a call from Bilbao but there was one from another part of Spain. Not from the South either," Llorente admitted. He was one of the names linked with a move to the Camp Nou before Barça signed Kevin Prince Boateng.

The Spurs man doesn't know whether he'll remain at the club beyond this summer with his contract running out. "If I sign a new deal, I'll be deligted. The project at Tottenham is fantastic but we're open to whatever offers might come our way." Llorente also admitted that Harry Kane's injury played a key role in him staying as it would offer him more playing time.
