Barcelona, who still need to finalise a fee with Eintracht Frankfurt, but have agreed terms with the young striker

FC Barcelona have agreed personal terms with Serbian striker Luka Jovic according to German newspaper 'Frankfurter Allgemeine". The information claims Barça have moved to the front on the queue after talks with the player's representatives and both sides hope to finalise the transfer in the summer. It's a similar case to what happened with Frenkie De Jong: first agreeing terms with the player and later with the club.

This way Barcelona have won the battle against a host of European sides, including Real Madrid, who wanted the young striker. Despite no one confirming the news being reported by 'FAZ', only a few days ago Jovic said he wanted to play in the Champions League next season.

Jovic, who has 14 goals so far, is the top scorer in the Bundesliga. He's currently on loan at Frankfurt from Benfica, although the German side have already announced their intention to take up the option to make it permanent. This means Barcelona will need to negotiate with them and not the Portuguese giants.
