Pique spent Saturday night in hospital and will miss the league game vs. Las Palmas
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique was given the green light to leave hosptial on Sunday. The Catalan left the hosptial in Vall d'Hebron and headed home following problems with a virus.
Pique had been unable to train all week and Luis Enrique confirmed on Saturday he would not play against Las Palmas. The club later revealed he was in hospital due to a stomach problem.
He was accompanied by his parents the whole time, who took him home on Sunday. SPORT have exclusive photographs of the moment he, alongside his parents, arrives home looking affected by the illness which has struck him down.
From his home, Pique will be able to follow Barça's important match against Las Palmas. At the same time, Real Madrid are hosting Sevilla at the Santiago Benabeu.
Barça don't expect Pique to be sidelined for too long and he should return to training at some point this week. His place in the side for next weekend's final game of the season against Eibar is not thought to be in danger.
