The forward will be allowed to leave Wolves this summer & Barça have an option to buy

Barcelona have an option to make Adama Traore's loan move from Wolverhampton Wanderers permanent at the end of the season.

Adama's form has dipped since his explosive start following his signing in January, so it's far from certain that Barça will follow through with the transfer. If they don't, Premier League side Everton are tracking the situation, according to Football Insider.

The key figure here is Kevin Thelwell. He played a key role in Adama's move to Wolves in 2018. Now he is the director of football at Everton, so it's not strange to see him linked with Goodison Park.

Everton are currently involved in a battle to stay in the Premier League and are planning to make changes to their attack in the summer.

Brazilian international Richarlison could leave, per the same report, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin's future is also uncertain.

Adama has a contract with Wolves until 2023 but they're willing to negotiate his exit this summer. If not with Barça, then Everton could enter on the scene.
