European Golden Shoe 2018-19 standings: Liliu leads the way
Messi has won the prize two years in a row and remains in the race
There's no Spanish football over Christmas but games in other countries mean the race for the 2018-19 Golden Shoe is hotting up.
Cristiano Ronaldo's double for Juventus and a Mo Salah goal for Liverpool moved them up the standing, which are currently led by Liliu, who plays in Estonia.
Barcelona star Lionel Messi, who's currently back in Argentina enjoying some time off, remains third with 15 goals, which equates to 30 points, one behind Liliu.
