According to ESPN FC, a source close to Paris Saint-Germain has confirmed that Barcelona forward Neymar has told the club he wants to play in France next season and has reached an agreement over a contract.
With that in place, PSG would then have to activate the player's 222 million euros release clause by depositing the money with the LFP.
ESPN FC's source says that Neymar and his father have had various conversations with PSG's owners and with the sporting director Antero Henrique in recent days and have agreed a four-year deal.
The numbers suggest he will earn 30 million euros a year, free from tax, and will also receive a huge signing on fee.
The source also indicated that Neymar and his father will also profit from a number of club owners Oryx Qatar Sports Investments' other commercial ventures in Paris and away from the world of football.
