ESPN Argentina: Leo Messi will sign new two-year deal with Barcelona
Messi is out of contract in June but could extend his stay at Camp Nou
According to ESPN Argentina, all paths lead to Lionel Messi staying at Barcelona. The Argentine outlet assures that he is close to renewing his deal with Barça until 2023, so for an additional two years.
The same report adds that Barcelona will do everything possible to ensure that Messi will have Neymar playing alongside him again next season, making the Brazilian their top target this summer.
Messi, whose current terms expire on June 30 2021, would therefore renew his link with the club of his life and could be reunited with an old teammate.
Neymar has never hidden his desire to play with Messi again and has not yet signed a new deal with PSG. His contract is up in 2022.
