Ernesto Valverde: Where does Griezmann play best? Up front
The coach didn't want to give too many details away
Antoine Griezmann's adaptation to life at Barcelona is one of the current debates around the club. Asked where he can get the maximum performance from the French forward, coach Ernesto Valverde was pragmatic and didn't go too far.
"Statstically it seems he's more on the left, or in the middle, Carles Perez plays on the right too," said Valverde. "I've seen Griezmann play much of his career on the left, I think he can do it well there and we have left-backs who get forward too."
Asked where Griezmann's best position is, Valverde aded: "Up front, up there, near the area."
