Erling Haaland's demands for his new contract lower than expected

The Norwegian forward is the hottest name on the transfer market going forward

Erling Haaland’s future is still unknown. It will be one of the great soap operas of the summer, well, to be honest it’s already started since Christmas if not before. The Norwegian wants to leave Borussia Dortmund.

Haaland has a clause of 75 million euros, which is valid until the end of April. From then the figure is inactive and the transfer cost will be considerably higher. So the case may be resolved before the summer even begins.

GOAL say the commissions for Haaland’s father and agent are much lower than the 50m euros touted in the media. That could mean Barcelona are still in the hunt for the player.

They say that a Premier League club is working on a deal and Haaland wants 20-25m euros a year net salary. Which is lower than expected, with 35m a year previously reported.
