Eneko Boveda blasts Gerard Pique ahead of Copa del Rey clash
Boveda did not bite his tongue and added, on Pique's comments, "they lacked respect for the football world"
Eneko Boveda, Athletic Club full-back, spoke to Deportes Cope Bilbao, where he hit out at Gerard Pique for complaining about referee Fernandez Borbalan. The Athletic full-back said: "There are codes in the world of football that should not be broken," he said.
Pique had claimed "the penalty on Neymar was extremely clear and the one Gorka committed on me, but now we know how this works."
Boveda did not bite his tongue and added, on Pique's comments, "they lacked respect for the football world, telling stories of dirty tricks. I did not like them. In the end when things don't go well, who you really are shows through."
