Emotional goodbye to Barca's 'policeman' Sergio Busquets

Sergio Busquets had an emotional and fun farewell. The presenter of the event, the comedian Dani Martínez, helped to create a very good atmosphere, mixing doses of humour with emotional notes.

Gerard Piqué was one of the first to break the ice. He explained how the captain returned a joke. Piqué had poured "colacao" into his locker and Busquets returned it to him "tenfold". Sergio explained that he put "a stink bomb in his car".

Little by little, videos were interspersed, such as those of Messi, Del Bosque, Thiago, Pedro and Bartra, who were unable to attend.

His family also dedicated great words to him, as well as his partner Elena and his sons Enzo and Levi, who also took the stage to tell him how much they love him.

Dembélé at the centre of the jokes

Busquets admitted he was known as "the policeman", something revealed by the embarrassed Dembélé. He was emphatic, saying: "I don't want to be captain!" Ousmane had to put up with Dani Martínez's constant banter from then on.

Koundé backed Dembélé and defined Busi with a watch emoji "for how he keeps track of our time". Busquets explained that "it was my mission, to bring order to the dressing room".

The youngsters, Iñaki Peña and Arnau Tenas, defined him with the octopus emoji and Ter Stegen chose a rocket. "I don't think it's because of my speed," laughed Busquets. Marc-André had to justify himself and also joined in the jokes, pointing to "the many times he distanced himself from me".

Guardiola's challenge

There were constant video messages, such as those from Luis Suárez, Cesc, who said he was called "el pica" or Luis Enrique, "el señor Sergio Busquets". Pep Guardiola joined in and challenged him: "I'm waiting for you as a coach, I'm going to beat you, I'm going to take the ball away from you. We know what we talked about when we went to the fields of Pobla de Mafumet or Manresa. There he would show his father's gene, facing off with each other, and the next day he would put on his mother's good boy's face. He has great parents".

Complicity with Xavi
