Elche vs. Barcelona: Dest returns to Koeman's squad, Messi suspended
Coach Ronald Koeman has named his squad for Sunday's league game in Elche
Barcelona travel to Eibar this weekend as they resume their league campaign following two games in the Spanish Supercopa and one in the Copa del Rey.
Barça have been in good form in La Liga since the turn of the year, rising to third in the table, but will be without the suspended Lionel Messi against Elche.
However, Sergiño Dest returned to training on Saturday and coach Ronald Koeman has been able to include the United States international in the squad.
In addition to Messi, Barça are also missing Gerard Pique, Ansu Fati, Philippe Coutinho and Sergi Roberto, all of whom remain sidelined with injuries.
The full squad is: Ter Stegen, Dest, Araujo, Sergio Busquets, Griezmann, Pjanic, Dembélé, Braithwaite, Riqui Puig, Neto, Lenglet, Pedri, Tricao, Jordi Alba, Matheus, De Jong, Umtiti, Junior, Mingueza, Arnau Tenas and Konrad.
