The Brazilian wants the second half of his renewal bonus

Pairs Saint-Germain star Neymar has filed a lawsuit against Barcelona claiming the second part of the renewal bonus from the contract he signed before leaving for the Ligue 1 runners-up.

Neymar, who helped PSG qualify for their first cup final of the season on Tuesday, is demanding 26 million euros plus 10 percent in interest, according to El Mundo, which takes the total to 30 million euros.

According to the same report, Barcelona believe they are owed money that Neymar received as part of a renewal bonus when he signed a new contract last year, in addition to €8.5m in damages plus interest. That's said to be a total of 75 million.

Remember that as a sign of good will, in the belief that Neymar breached his contract, Barça deposited the second part of the renewal bonus with a notary as they waited for the Brazilian's final decision. When he moved to PSG, Barça confirmed they would not be paying it.
