The Barça forward was celebrating his birthday at Tiffany's in Madrid

Munir El Haddadi was caught up in an unfortunate event at the nightclub Tiffany's in Madrid, where he was celebrating his birthday over the weekend.

According to El Mundo, the Barcelona striker had agreed a fee with the nightclub which was supposed to cover the party he was hosting for a large group of friends.

After the party, in which a large amount of food and drink was consumed by between 30 and 40 people, staffe at Tiffany's handed Munir a bill for €16,000, which the player was not in agreement with -- he thought he was supposed to pay half of that.

What had elevated the cost, apparently, was the amount of shisha which has been consumed by his guests, which was reportedly supplied by a third party company.

The police were called to the nightclub when Munir refused to pay the new price, but he ended up paying the full total in the end to avoid any further problems.
