Barça still want to sign Griezmann despite Coutinho deal

The French player is available for 100 million in the summer

After breaking their transfer record for the second time this season, Barcelona are not relaxing and are already thinking about adding more pieces to their project.

For now, they're looking to lighten the squad to make room for Yerry Mina and Philippe Coutino, but they're also thinking about the summer.

With the arrival of Coutinho and the return of Ousmane Dembele, the squad looks well-balanced, but the club feel it's not more and will look to add to it at the end of the season.

Antoine Griezmann is the player they want and in the summer his return to 100 million euros, which is not huge considering the current market.

According to the show El Larguero on Cadena SER, Barça have made the player an offer to try and convince him to come to Camp Nou: a five-year deal (the same as Coutinho and Dembele) and wages on a par with Luis Suarez (the second highest paid player at the club on around 15 million euros per season).

El Larguero's report say the offer has seduced Griezmann, but that other clubs such as Manchester United are still after the Atletico Madrid star.

In addition, Atletico will not throw the towel in and could even offer Griezmann the same wages which Barça are proposing.
