Dugarry calls Messi 'half-autistic' in Griezmann rant
The former French international is known for his polemic comments
Barcelona’s former French defender Dugarry, now a commentator in his homeland, called Leo Messi ‘half autistic’ as he tried to explain compatriot Antoine Griezmann's bad form.
“Why should he be scared of a kid who’s about 1.50m tall and is half autistic? The only thing he has to do is get his balls out some time,” said Dugarry on RMC Sport.
Dugarry, known for his controversial opinions, said Griezmann should give himself a slap on the head because “for a year they’ve been saying he has a problem with Messi.”
“He has lost his confidence and his performances aren’t good,” said Dugarry. “It’s true Messi could give him more passes but it doesn’t surprise me. Griezmann loses the ball, he should talk to Messi to solve the problem.”
Setien was also blasted. “He’s a good guy but he’s not good enough. He puts on Ansu Fati in the 85th minute and Griezmann in the 90th. It’s not something against Griezmann, its that he doesn’t know how to make his team play. He’s in over his head.”
