The striker's contract expires in the summer and BVB want a firm answer now

Borussia Dortmund have got tough with Youssoufa Moukoko, telling the young striker to accept the renewal offer or look for a new club.

Moukoko, 18, is out of contract at the end of the season and Barcelona are keen to sign him on a free transfer if he runs his deal down.

However, the German club would like an answer to their renewal offer now and could look to sell him this month if he rejects.

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl told Kicker the club have made a "very attractive offer" and want an answer from Moukoko before Dortmund face Augsburg on Jan. 22.

"Youssoufa can accept this offer now and commit to Borussia Dortmund, or else there will be a parting of ways," Kehl said.

"I would wish that he chooses us because he hasn't yet completed his development and I see huge potential in him. But for us as a club there are limits."

Moukoko has scored six goals in 14 appearances in the Bundesliga this season and was part of the Germany squad at the World Cup.
