Barça hope to bring in some money for the trio to invest elsewhere

While many players are preparing for the World Cuo, Barcelona continue to work on restructuring their squad for the new season. That means signing players but also moving others on.

In this sense, Barça hope to find solutions to various cases soon and, as a consequence, bring in some money to help strengthen in other areas. Deals for Gerard Deulofeu and Marlon Santos are the most advanced so far, while Rafinha could also leave as early as this week.

Deulofeu took the decision to give up on his Barça dream last January. The winger is happy in the Premier League and his 13 million euros move to Watford could be made official at any minute

Marlon, West Ham

Brazilian defender Marlon also looks set for the Premier League. In the case of the centre-back, West Ham looks set to be his destination in a 15 million euros deal.

The third name on the list is Rafinha Alcantara. His father and agent, Mazinho, will meet this week with Barcelona representatives. The Hispanic-Brazilian was happy with his loan at Inter and hopes to stay with the Serie A side, but their reluctance to pay the 35 million euros Barça want is an obstacle.

SPURS IN THE GAME

Tottenham Hotspur have also entered the scene, which could change the situation if the Premier League side are willing to meet Barça's price demands for Rafinha.

After pinning Harry Kane down to a new deal, Spurs want to renew Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen's contracts as well as strengthening elsewhere as they look to compete in the Premier League and the Champions League.

They're not the only three files Barça have open, though. André Gomes, Alex Vidal and Yerry Mina are not in Ernesto Valverde's plans, either, nor are returning loanees Munir and Douglas, who must seek a future elsewhere.
