Barcelona and Watford are close to agreeing a deal for Gerard Deulofeu to return to the English side on a permanent basis.
The operation is still not finalised but both clubs are now ready to meet in the middle. Ernesto Valverde's told the winger that he doesn't need him next season, while Watford want to keep the player they signed on loan in January.
Javi Gracia had just taken over as Watford coach and he's a big fan of the Spain international.
Deulofeu is out of contract with Barça in 2019 and doesn't plan on renewing: "In the summer I will leave Barça but I don't know where I will go. We have to see. I have to rest and then decide, but Watford is an option," he said in an interview with the Premier League club's official website in May.
Despite the fact his release clause is 20 million euros, Barcelona are ready to accept an offer of around 10 million and cut their losses on the player they re-signed from Everton for 12 million last summer.
