The goalkeeper, who denied Manchester United on the night, had the time to find the note from the opposition's manager and read it

Marc-André Ter Stegen passed yet another test against Manchester United this week. Not only did he stand out on the pitch but he had the time to find a secret message handed to United during the defeat.

Keiran McKenna, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's number two, handed a small note giving intructions which ended up with Marcus Rashford. However the young striker lost the note after challenging Pique and it ended up on the floor.

Ter Stegen, who didn't have much to do on the night, noticed this and went to investigate. He picked up the note, read it and then left it where it was. When he decides to hang up his boots there's a career in detective work awaiting the German stopper.
