Details from Barcelona's contract offer to Cesar Azpilicueta
The Spanish defender is out of contract at Stamford Bridge and may come to Catalonia
Barcelona are hoping they can sign Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea at the end of his contract this summer. The Catalans have offered him a deal after getting the OK from coach Xavi Hernandez. As reported by Fabrizio Romano’s Here We Go podcast, the Blaugrana have offered him a two year deal with an optional third year. Azpilicueta is still thinking about it.
It is likely to be Azpilicueta’s last big contract at a club, with the Chelsea skipper 32 years old. The response will come between March and April.
